How to Report a Problem
If you experience an issue with a repair shop, a review, or any activity on the FIXIO marketplace, we want to hear about it. Here's how to get help.
Step 1: Contact the Shop First
For issues with a specific repair, we recommend reaching out to the shop directly through the FIXIO messaging system first. Many issues — such as warranty repairs or billing queries — can be resolved quickly this way.
Step 2: Open a Support Ticket
If the shop is unresponsive or the issue is unresolved after 48 hours, open a support ticket via our Support Centre. Our team will review the situation and mediate where possible.
What You Can Report
- A shop that did not complete or honour a booked repair.
- A shop charging a price significantly different from what was listed.
- Suspected fraudulent activity — fake listings, fake reviews, impersonation.
- Abusive or threatening behaviour from a shop or customer.
- A review you believe is fake or violates our guidelines.
What Happens After You Report
Our trust and safety team reviews all reports, typically within 2 business days. We may contact you for more information. Where a breach is confirmed, we may warn, suspend, or permanently ban the party responsible.
Confidentiality
All reports are handled confidentially. The party you report will not be told who made the report.
